NORTH ADAMS, Mass -- The Buccaneers traveled to MCLA on Friday to take on the Trailblazers in conference play. Needing a win to jump Bridgewater for first place in the MASCAC, the Bucs got two goals from Brody Calvert to take a 2-0 win back to Buzzards Bay.

How It Happened

In the first half, the score remained knotted at 0-0 for the first 23 minutes. Then, in the 24th minute, Calvert netted his 10th goal of the season to give the Buccaneers a 1-0 advantage. Though the Bucs took 22 shots in the half, they could not extend their lead in the first 45 minutes, and they carried the 1-0 lead into the halftime break. 

Maritime held their one-goal lead for 29 minutes into the second half and then extended it to two goals on Calvert's second of the game, from Munroe, in the 75th minute. The Buccaneers saw out the final 15 minutes and captured three points from the conference match.

The Buccaneers travel to Rhode Island to take on Johnson & Wales on Monday, October 20th, for a 6pm kickoff.
