CHICOPEE, Mass -- Bucs men's soccer traveled to Western Mass on Tuesday evening to take on Elms College. Coming off a 3-0 win over Regis to open their season on Saturday, Maritime shut out Elms, 2-0, thanks to an early goal from Thomas O'Neil and a late goal from Brody Calvert.

How It Happened
After scoring three goals in the final 15 minutes of their win over Regis on Saturday, the Bucs scored in the fourth minute against Elms on O'Neil's first of the year. That goal proved to be the game-winner. The Bucs led 1-0 at the half.
In the second half of a very physical game between the Buccaneers and Blazers that saw five yellow cards for Elms and one for Maritime, neither team could find the back of the net for the first 35 minutes of the half. Then, in the 80th minute, Calvert scored his second goal of the season to add some insurance to the Bucs 2-0 victory.
