Massachusetts Maritime Academy Athletics Hall of Fame
Mission:
The MMA Athletics Hall of Fame honors former student-athletes, teams, Academy staff, alumni, and supporters who have made a significant contribution to Massachusetts Maritime Academy Athletics. We celebrate excellence, leadership, and the proud tradition of Buccaneer Athletics.
A Legacy of Excellence:
Founded in 1891, Massachusetts Maritime Academy is the oldest continuously operating maritime academy in the nation, maintaining a reputation for both academic and athletic achievement.
Student-Athletes:

Eligible 5–30 years after graduation.

One additional student-athlete may be selected beyond the 30-year mark in the Legacy Inductee category.
Teams:

Eligible if at least five (5) years have passed since the last member graduated.
Benefactors and Contributors
Individuals who have made a significant contribution to MMA Athletics through service, leadership, philanthropy, or other impactful involvement that has positively influenced the growth and success of the athletic program.
Selection Consideration for Student-Athletes
Eligibility for former student-athletes is based primarily on the nominee’s athletic ability, as demonstrated by performance, supported by statistical evidence (when available), and recognized through selection at the national, regional, conference, or institutional level, in that order.
Secondary consideration may be given for recognition by teammates and coaches, academic achievement, personal integrity, good character, sportsmanship, and outstanding professional and community service.
