How It Happened

Prior to the Buccaneers taking the lead early in the match, the Rams got a great opportunity on a free kick that saw Joia having to make an amazing save on a Framingham header inside the six-yard box. Then, in the 12th minute, Calvert scored his 12th goal of the season to give the Bucs a 1-0 lead. In the 20th minute, O'Donnell took the ball from a Rams midfielder as they tried to clear the ball and took a shot from outside the 18-yard box, driving it home to give Maritime a 2-0 advantage. Maritime took that lead into the halftime break.

In the second half, Framingham went on the attack and got a goal back quickly in the 49th minute when Holt scored on a great pass from Santos Da Silva. Up one goal, 2-1, Calvert found the back of the net again in the 62nd minute. O'Donnell delivered a ball into the box from midfield that found Calvert's head, and he popped it over the head of the keeper into the net to make it 3-1 Maritime.  Just over 10 minutes later, Turmel scored his first goal of the season on a pass from Kennedy to seal the deal for the hosts. Maritime went on to win 4-1.
