Kane Named to NEILA All-New England Honorable Mention Team

BUZZARDS BAY, Mass -- The New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) announced its 2026 All-New England teams on Wednesday afternoon. From the Buccaneers, Daniel Kane was named to the Honorable Mention Team.

Kane scooped up the Little East Conference (LEC) Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year honors and a spot on the All-LEC First Team at the end of the 2026 season, and can now add an All-New England selection to his lacrosse resume.

Dan scored 46 goals and had 39 assists for the Buccaneers in a historic season for the program, as they found their way to an LEC Championship, their first NCAA Tournament appearance, and their first-ever NCAA Tournament win over Husson. He finishes his career as one of the most decorated men's lacrosse players at the Academy and atop the leaderboard in multiple career categories. Kane became the second player in Bucs history to record 100 goals and 100 assists in a career in 2026, finishing with 141 goals and 126 assists, both of which are second all-time.

He isn't done on the lacrosse field yet, as he will travel to Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia, on May 22nd to take part in the USILA North/South All-Star Game.
