Buccaneers Tame Panthers in the Granite State
PLYMOUTH, N.H. -- Coming down the homestretch of the 2026 lacrosse season, the Buccaneers traveled north on Saturday to take on conference foes, Plymouth State. In what has typically been a tough game for the Bucs, and one that the rostered seniors have never won, Maritime took the LEC game handily, 13-5.

Inside the Numbers
Maritime
- Quinn Mucha and Daniel Kane led all scorers with three goals each in the win. James Sullivan added two goals, and Andy Aguado-Scheyer, Chilton Cabot, Cooper Barrett, Joe Vricella, and Ryan McDonough all scored once.
- Kane notched three assists in the game to lead all players. Cabot and Mucha had two helpers, and Colin Fitzsimmons and McDonough had one.
- Hall picked up a game-high six ground balls for the Bucs.

How It Happened
Plymouth State scored first, off the opening faceoff, to take a 1-0 lead. Mucha answered for the Bucs less than a minute later to tie the game at 1-1. Plymouth retook an early lead 55 seconds after Mucha tied the game, and once again led, 2-1. The scoring frenzy slowed, then from 9:48 to 8:53 in the quarter, Sullivan, Vricella, and Mucha each scored a goal to tie the game and ultimately take a two-goal lead. With just under a minute left in the first, Mucha scored his third of the period to give the Buccaneers a three-goal, 5-2 advantage, heading to the second.
There was only one goal scored in the second quarter, scored by Plymouth from the stick of Renner at the 11:37 mark. With no other scoring to speak of, the Bucs held a 5-3 lead at the half.
In the third, the Bucs scored first on a goal from McDonough and went on to score two more goals by the midway point of the quarter. Maritime led by five goals, 8-3. Plymouth got another goal from Renner to cut the deficit to four goals, but Kane answered for the Bucs at 5:28. Less than a minute later, Hunt scored for the hosts, rounding out the scoring in the third, and the Bucs took a four-goal, 9-5, lead to the fourth.
There were four goals scored in the fourth quarter, all by the Buccaneers. Aguado-Scheyer scored his first of the season, followed by Sullivan, then Kane, and finally Cabot, to secure a 13-5 win for the Buccaneers over the Panthers.
