Naar and Deveau Earn Spots on Women's Lacrosse All-MASCAC Second Team

WESTFIELD, Mass -- The Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference announced its Women's Lacrosse All-Conference teams on Wednesday afternoon. From the Buccaneers, junior captain Sarah Naar and sophomore Karah Deveau earned spots on the All-MASCAC Second Team.

For Naar, this is her second appearance on an All-MASCAC squad, earning second-team honors in her freshman season. That year, she was also named the conference's Rookie of the Year. In 2026, Sarah scored a team-high 32 goals and had five assists. In the Bucs' win over Anna Maria at the end of the season, Naar recorded a career-high four assists. She also picked up 21 ground balls, won 19 draw controls, and caused eight turnovers.

This is Deveau's first appearance on an All-MASCAC team, as she narrowly missed making the second team in 2025. This year, Karah missed six games due to injury, but made her presence felt in the seven games, all in MASCAC play, that she did play in. In those seven games, she averages three goals per game with 21 total. She scored five in a Bucs loss to Framingham State, four in their game against Fitchburg, and had three against Bridgewater, Worcester, and in their win over Anna Maria to end the season. Deveau added six assists for the Bucs, picked up 29 ground balls, won 20 draw controls, and caused 11 turnovers on the season.
