Naar Lead All Scorers in Bucs Loss to Bears
BUZZARDS BAY, Mass -- Women's lacrosse hosted Bridgewater State on Tuesday in conference play at Clean Harbors Stadium. Despite a game-high four goals from Sarah Naar and an additional three from Karah Deveau the Bucs came up short, 14-7, against the Bears.

How It Happened
The Buccaneers scored first in the game with a goal from Deveau 2:25 into the game. Bridgewater went on to score four times in the first, and led 4-1 after one.
In the second, the Bears opened their lead to seven goals, 8-1, just past the midway point of the second quarter. Deveau scored her second at the 5:06 mark of the second to make the score 8-2. Fleurent scored for the Bears off the ensuing draw, and the Bears retook a seven-goal, 9-2, lead at the half.
The Bears scored three of the five goals in the third quarter, all in the first six minutes, to go up by 10 goals, 12-2. The Bucs scored two in the quarter as Deveau scored her third and Naar scored her first, closing the gap to eight goals, 12-4, heading to the fourth.
In the fourth, the Bucs outscored the Bears, getting three goals from Naar at 9:25, 5:09, and with 51 seconds remaining. Bridgewater scored twice in the fourth to keep the Bucs at arm's length and to win the game, 14-7.
