Women's Soccer Drops Conference Match to Bears on the Road

BRIDGEWATER, Mass -- The Buccaneers women's soccer team played Bridgewater to a scoreless tie at the half but thanks to three second half goals from the Bears, the Bucs lost their conference match on Saturday by a 3-0 final on the road.

Maritime

How It Happened

Maritime was outshot by Bridgewater in the first half 12-1 but the Bucs defense stood tall in front of Kerecz and did not allow a goal. The Buccaneers were unable to get on the board either in the first 45 minutes and the teams went to the break knotted at 0-0.

In the second half, the Bears broke through in the 60th minute on Robarge's ninth goal of the season to take a 1-0 lead. Though that goal proved to be the game winner, Bridgewater added goals from Dewhurst in the 74th minute and Chrisafideis in the 90th minute to seal the 3-0 win over the Bucs.
