BUZZARDS BAY, Mass -- Women's soccer picked up their first win of the season in shutout fashion on Wednesday night at home in non-conference play against Bay Path University. The Buccaneers had 8 different goals scores in the 9-0 win.

How It Happened
The Buccaneers scored six times in the first half. The first two goals came in the first nine minutes of the game, both from Deveau. The third Buccaneers goal came in the 10th minute from Maher to give the team a 3-0 advantage. In the 16th minute, Brook scored to make it 4-0. In the 26th minute, Santoro scored to extend the lead to five goals. Verrilli scored her first of the season in the 32nd minute to round out the scoring in the first half. The Buccaneers led 6-0 at the break.
In the second half, 10 minutes in, Deschamps scored to bring the score to 7-0. Laux followed Deschamp's goal up with one of her own in the 60th minute giving the Bucs an eight-goal advantage. In the 65th minute, Warren scored on a breakaway pushing the score to 9-0 with 25 minutes to play. The Buccaneers continued to shoot down the stretch and were unable to find the back of the net again winning by a final of 9-0.
