Narodowg Records Career-High 22 Kills in Bucs Season Finale

SALEM, Mass -- The Buccaneer volleyball season came to an end on Saturday with a 3-1 loss at the hands of Salem State. In the match, senior captain Shayla Narodowg recorded a career-high 22 kills in her final game in a Maritime uniform. Freshman Libero Holly Sanders surpassed 575 digs on the season, and junior defensive specialist Ashleigh Catlett tied her career-high with 21 digs.

Maritime

  • Narodowg posted a match-high 22 kills in the loss. Catlett posted seven of her own. 
  • Erin Donlan recorded 24 assists.
  • On the serve, Narodowg had a match-high five aces, Sanders tallied three. 
  • Defensively, Sanders had 28 digs, leading all players; Catlett recorded 21, Donlan had 14, and Narodowg notched 13.

  • Sabina Kamanda had a team-high 12 kills in the match. Khloe Camblin had 11, and Bella Coccia amassed 10.
  • Celia Carbone had a match-high 37 assists.
  • On the serve, Coccia had a team-high three aces. 
  • Defensively, Carbone led the Vikings with 26, and Kailey Roche had 25. 
  • At the net, Camblin totaled three solo blocks. 
  • Salem had a 0.138 hitting percentage and scored 63 points.
