BUZZARDS BAY, Mass -- Volleyball hosted a tough Westfield State team on Saturday in Buzzards Bay. The Buccaneers did something they hadn't done in a while against Westfield: take a set. They achieved this feat in their 3-1 loss in conference play.

Maritime

• Shayla Narodowg led the Bucs with 13 kills, and Maliah Servino tallied 10.
• Servino posted a team-high .375 hitting percentage in the match. 
• Erin Donlan tallied 24 assists in the loss.
• On the serve, Holly Sanders had a team-high three aces. 
• Defensively, Sanders led the match with 34 digs. Ashleigh Catlett had 12, and Donlan recorded 11.
• At the net, Servino and Narodowg each had a solo block and an assisted block.
• In total, Maritime posted a 0.067 hitting percentage and scored 43 points. 

Westfield

• Lauren Carnes recorded a match-high 21 kills in the win. Hannah Nihill had 10 of her own.
• Morgan Dority had a match-high 42 assists.
• On the serve, Zurielys Rivera had four aces. 
• Defensively, Rivera had a team-high 20 digs. Dority added 15, and Kylee McDonough had 11. 
• At the net, Shaneidy Hernandez recorded five solo blocks and two block assists. Dority added two block assists.
• In total, Westfield had a 0.180 hitting percentage and 70 points.
