Buccaneers Show out at Regis Spring Classic
WESTON, Mass. -- The Bucs competed at the Regis Spring Classic at Regis College on Friday afternoon, finishing fifth overall in the men's meet, and the women finished 11th overall.
For the men, Jamaric McZeal finished first overall in the men's 200-meter dash with a time of 22.17 seconds. He went on to finish second overall in the men's 100-meter dash with a time of 11.03 seconds. In the process, McZeal set the new Buccaneers program record in both events.
Jack Laliberte was the winner in the men's 5000-meter race, finishing in 18:10.73.
In the men's high jump, Joey Tully continued his outstanding season, winning the event with a best jump of 1.95 meters.
In the men's 400-meter dash, Cole Guiliani finished second overall with a finishing time of 53.36 seconds.
Noah Gable picked up a fourth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:04.51.
The Buccaneers 4x400 meter relay team came in first place with a time of 3:41.66, with William Brown, Guiliani, William Humphrey, and Jackson Holschuh participating.
On the women's side, Lorelei Lee picked up two points with a fifth-place finish in the women's 3000-meter steeplechase, finishing in 13:46.95.
Danielle Dana finished 11th in the 5000-meter race at 22:20.42.
The Bucs are at the Bonnie Edmundson Invitational at Eastern Connecticut next weekend.
