Six Buccaneers Name to All-MASCAC Teams

WESTFIELD, Mass -- Wednesday afternoon, the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference announced its football postseason awards and All-Conference Teams. The Buccaneers, who finished the season 5-5, 5-4 in the MASCAC, and fifth in the standings after going 4-1 in the second half of the season, have six representatives between the first and second teams.

The Bucs have four first-team honorees with Thomas Marvelli on the offensive side of the ball, and Jackson MahoneyTJ Jones, and Mac Kromenhoek on the defensive side of the ball. The two selections on the second team are offensive tackle Thomas Russell and defensive back Jorden Woods.

Marvelli was part of an offensive line that allowed only 11 sacks on the season. Thomas himself allowed two all season. Protecting the Buccaneers' backfield, Marvelli helped the Bucs rush for 1,889 yards on the season with 14 touchdowns. The team averaged 188.9 yards per game and 3.7 yards per carry. This is the junior offensive lineman's first appearance on an All-MASCAC team.

Mahoney, also representing the conference as the Defensive Player of the Year, makes his second appearance on an All-MASCAC first-team. This season, Mahoney recorded 92 tackles, 54 solo, with four sacks, seven tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, an interception, and four pass breakups.

Jones tallied 43 tackles in 2025 with 31 solo from his linebacker spot. He added two sacks, five tackles for loss, and four pass breakups. This is the senior's first All-MASCAC selection.

Kromenhoek makes his second consecutive appearance on the All-MASCAC team, first on the first team. Mac led the Buccaneers in sacks in 2025 with 4.5. He made 25 total tackles, five tackles for loss, recovered a fumble, and broke up three passes to go along with the 4.5 sacks.

On the second team, Russell makes his first All-MASCAC team as part of that offensive line that helped the Bucs rush for 1,889 yards, 3.7 per carry, for 14 touchdowns.

Woods had an outstanding freshman campaign for the Buccaneers, and those efforts landed him the MASCAC Defensive Rookie of the Year and a second-team nod. Jorden made 39 tackles this season, 31 solo, and had two games in which he made six solo tackles from his defensive back position. He added an interception and three pass breakups.
