Buccaneer sailing competed in the BU Invite at Boston University and the Smith Trophy at MIT over the weekend. It was a tough go for the Bucs, finishing 17th at BU and 15th at MIT.

At Boston University, the Bucs compiled 97 points and finished 17th overall, three points behind UConn for 16th. Tufts won the Invitational with 22 points, and Brown was second with 23. Roger Williams rounded out the top three with their top boat finishing third with 26 points. 

At MIT, Maritime finished 15th in a field of 18 teams. They completed the Smith trophy with 193 points, seven ahead of Bentley in 16th, and were 12 points shy of Salve Regina in 14th.
