The Bucs sailing team went to the Naval Academy and Bowdoin College over the weekend to compete in the Shields and Barnett Trophies. 

At the Barnett Trophy in Maine, the Buccaneers finished 12th place in a field of 15 boats. They were eight points ahead of Bentley University and two points behind Maine Maritime. Bowdoin's three boats finished in the top three spots in the regatta.

At Navy, the Bucs finished 9th in the Shields Trophy. Maritime finsihed ahead of Army by two points, and behind SUNY Maritime by one point. The College of Charleston, Merchant Marine, and Navy finished in the top three spots.
