BOSTON, Mass -- This weekend, the Bucs sailing team traveled to Boston to participate in the Oberg Trophy, hosted by Northeastern University. The Buccaneers struggled in a field of 17 teams, finishing 15th overall.

Maritime accumulated 235 points across 18 events over the two days, with a best finish of 7th place. They had four top 10 finishes with two 10ths, a ninth, and a seventh-place finish.

Brown won the Oberg with Boston College finishing second and Tufts rounding out the top three. Host Northeastern finished in seventh.

Maritime missed out on 13th by one point, finishing behind The Citadel. They beat out the University of Saint Thomas and Princeton.
