WESTFIELD, Mass -- The Buccaneer men's cross country team participated in the James Earley Invitational at Westfield State on Saturday, running the same course they will run in the MASCAC Championship in November.

As a team, the Buccaneers finished 12th overall in a field of 18 teams. They edged out Worcester State in the standings by one point and were 28 points short of Framingham for 11th.

Individually, Robert Kenny finished top for the Bucs in 88th place overall with a time of 29:57.06. Cooper Ogden wasn't far behind in 99th with a time of 30:37.99.

Rounding out the top five for Maritime were Emerson Dobrindt, Griffin Corrick, and Cohen Buice in 12th, 115th, and 119th, respectively. 

The Buccaneers head to Western New England University next week for their fourth reace of the season.
