Bio

Michael Larkin joins the Massachusetts Maritime football staff after gaining experience at both the collegiate football and business leadership levels. A 2025 graduate of Texas State University, Larkin served as an Offensive Staff Intern with the Bobcats from 2021-23, where he analyzed opponent film, created scouting cut-ups, assisted with practice operations, and worked closely with coaches on weekly game preparation.

Larkin has also been involved with several offensive line coaching and development clinics led by renowned coach Jim Turner, assisting with drill instruction, player development, and football fundamentals for high school and collegiate athletes. In 2025, he gained additional experience in the collegiate athletics landscape through an internship with Victory Star NIL, supporting student-athletes with branding, marketing, and NIL initiatives.

Outside of football, Larkin has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills in the private sector. After excelling as a sales representative with Port Energy, he was promoted to Sales Manager, where he oversees and develops a team of more than 10 representatives while implementing strategies to improve performance and efficiency.

A native of Braintree, Massachusetts, Larkin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Science with concentrations in Health & Fitness Management and Business Administration from Texas State University. He graduated with a 3.91 GPA and was a four-year recipient of the Texas State Merit Scholarship.
