Bio

Correia began her first season as head coach of the Buccaneers after the 2023 spring season, following longtime coach Marc Palombo’s transition to an assistant role. She had served as Palombo’s assistant from 2019 to 2023.

Since September 2019, Mikayla has also held the role of Assistant Director of Athletics and Senior Woman Administrator, where she helps lead recruiting for women’s athletics, coordinates special events, and supports fundraising efforts. Before that, she was a Women’s Recruiting Graduate Assistant from Fall 2018 to Fall 2019.

Alongside her coaching role, Correia worked as Assistant Director of the Boston Aces Lacrosse Club from 2019 to 2025.

A 2018 graduate of the Academy, Correia earned her bachelor’s degree before completing a master’s degree in Facilities Management in 2020. As a four-year goalkeeper for the Buccaneers, she still holds many of the program’s records.
